Meeting Decision of March 2, 2026

Agenda: As one of the initial stages of the project process carried out within the scope of Economic Development Clusters (EDCs), the problem analysis study was meticulously conducted. In this context, the current situation regarding the target region and sector was examined in detail, and the main problems encountered and their causes were systematically identified. The findings obtained from the analyses were comprehensively discussed in meetings held with the participation of relevant stakeholders; decisions were made after debating different views and assessments.

Discussions and Decisions Made:
Within the scope of the Rural Disadvantaged Areas Development Project (RDAKP), the Development Council, established to increase the effectiveness of projects in the region and to ensure democratic participation in strategic decision-making processes, held its regular meeting.
Item 1: Discussion and Resolution of Economic Development Cluster (EDC) Issues. Under this agenda item, the current status of EDCs was evaluated in order to ensure that agricultural development initiatives progress in line with regional realities.

Cluster Leader Zübeyir GÜVEN of CPP-1 presented to the committee the challenges encountered in field operations in the districts of Pınarbaşı, Sarız, Tomarza, and Bünyan, which are part of the 1st Economic Development Cluster.

Erdinç KUMAŞ, Cluster Leader of CPP-2, presented the local problems and cluster-specific needs of Akkışla, Sarıoğlan, and Felahiye districts, which are part of the 2nd Economic Development Cluster.

CPP-3 Cluster Leader Fatih ELTİMUR presented the local problems and cluster-specific needs of Yahyalı and Yeşilhisar districts, which are part of the 3rd Economic Development Cluster.

Under the leadership of Council President Bülent SAKLAV, and following comprehensive evaluations conducted with IPYB officials Mustafa TOKDEMİR (Project Coordinator), Dr. Meral AKALIN KOCA (Monitoring and Evaluation), Dr. Şeyma AKŞİT ÖZER (Social Mobilization), and Mehmet PARLAK (Financial Management and Procurement), strategic steps to address the aforementioned problems in the EKK (Economic Coordination Council) areas were determined, and action plans to be implemented were unanimously approved.

This meeting was held to ensure coordination among public institutions, local governments, and civil society organizations.
